Meet Polo! This handsome senior guy is as as sweet as can be. He has a quiet, loving and playful personality and wants to say hello to everyone he meets. He is a big rubber and enjoys rubbing up against you and weaving between your legs. Polo loves to play with the ball and tire toys and is happiest running around outside. He even knows sit and high five! Polo is fully housetrained and is used to spending time alone during work hours. He has lived with dogs before and done well and has shown us here he would enjoy playing with other dogs. He has also lived with children as young as 3 years old and done very well with them. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
