Meet Beyla! Beyla came to Beagles and Bentleys after being used for breeding. He is a 3.5 year old male german shepherd. Without much structure in his past life, he will surprise you with how sweet and accepting of love he is! He loves squeaky toys, chicken, and loving on his humans. Beyla is a great dog- intelligent, playful, fun loving, responsive, and E-collar trained. He has some crate anxiety and will require a heavy duty crate (B&B will provide). Beyla would love a big yard with a fence where he can run and chase balls. He is looking for an adopter who is willing to continue working on socialization and building his confidence so he can reach his full potential as the best boy! He absolutely loves other dogs, is very playful, and will need an adopter ready for a strong and energetic guy! He will come with an e-collar and training support! For those who love shepherds, he is exactly that: a true shepherd. He has so much to offer and deserves to be in a loving home getting cuddles with a buddy and going on adventure walks! Beyla just completed heartworm treatment and will need a heartworm re-check in 6 months, covered by his adoption fee. He is being fostered in Lanexa, VA and is neutered/microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. Beyla's adoption fee is $375. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
