Summer and Wonder are a delightful bonded-pair of 7 year old Maltese girls. They are full siblings, but not twins. You know all the characteristics you love about a Maltese? These girls have all those qualities. They are bonded, so they must be placed together in the same Forever Home. They sleep in the same bed, and are always looking for the other one. Both are good with cats and large dogs. They are so pretty they should be in the movies. They look like Show Girls ready to seek their new Forever Home in Northern California. Summer is the playful comedian. She is cute as a button and tiny at 4.5 lbs. She is the inquisitive one of the pair. She always wants to see what’s new and what is behind the next corner. She can be a “Tomboy” who is a little shy, but she quickly warms up, especially if you are willing to pet her, or let her sleep on your lap. Summer loves wrestling and playing with another playful small dog. Wonder would be the romantic lead. She has the most gorgeous face, and weighs 5.5 lbs. She has a couple of "lemon" spots on her, including one of her ears. She is calm, mature and devoted. Her ideal day would be sitting on your lap staring up at you in adoration. She isn’t into playing with other dogs, but she does like a good crackly, or stuffed toy now and then. She has been known to do a little exploring, but mostly she’d rather follow you around the house. They are up to date on shots, been spayed, and had their teeth cleaned. House-training is a work in progress. They are mostly pee pad trained, but they are definitely not 100% accurate. They are more than willing to go outside, but they will spend more time exploring the grass than getting down to business. The family they adopt must be willing to devote the required time and effort to finishing this part of their training. Speaking of training, while they have basic manners, they could use some polishing. Thus, we would recommend you find a positive trainer that can show you how to do that polishing.
