About Pluto Potato
Mr. Pluto Potato is on the hunt for his perfect forever sofa, and yours might be the one he’s been dreaming of. This basset hound mix is about six years old and carries his 72 lbs with full hound style—think big and sweet, always ready for some attention. Toys, belly rubs, naps, and human affection are his greatest pleasures. Pluto is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and completely house trained. He’s crate trained too, though he’s particular about his crate space—let him come and go as he likes, and he’s perfectly content. Long walks aren’t his thing; he prefers a lazy amble or lounging around, likely a mix of his recent recovery after an accident and a touch of classic basset stubbornness. Food is a big motivator for Pluto, but he’s not aggressive about it—he shares food and water bowls with foster siblings just fine. He’s playful, friendly, and gentle when accepting treats, even if he might try to sneak an extra one. He gets along with cats and calm dogs, and would probably do well with older kids. What Pluto needs most is a family ready to give him plenty of love and attention. He’s the kind of dog who truly soaks up affection and gives it right back. They are waiting with paws crossed!
