He absolutely loves other dogs, even smaller ones, although he still has that puppy energy so he may need guidance to be gentle with smaller dogs . Milo started out on the streets by himself, and he wasn't treated very well. He can be very shy at first, especially around strangers, but as he gains the confidence he needs he loves everyone! He is sweet and respectful, without a mean bone in his body. He plays quietly and hardly ever barks at home. When outside he loves to run, so someone with a fenced in backyard would be perfect! He knows how to share, and doesn’t guard his toys from his people or from other dogs. He needs someone with patience to let him know that the world is a safe place, and that he is loved. Milo was a stray before he was rescued. He wandered into the backyard of a Good Samaritan, who waited several days before bringing him in when the Texas summer heat began to get unbearable. Milo was so hot, hungry, and lonely. He is picking up commands like “sit” and “kennel”. He is learned to alert his foster humans when he needs to go outside.
