Levi is a lab-lovers dream! Handsome, athletic, and highly-trainable, this 5-year-old fellow came to us after a sad situation in his home forced his owner to give up their best buddy. Levi walks well on leash, knows many commands (sit, paw, place, leave it, etc.), and loves to play fetch. He does have a very loud voice, which can sound intimidating, but he is really just telling you he is excited to see you (or to go on his walk, get a treat, etc.). We feel he would do best as an only dog. We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
