Sanders can be a little shy when meeting new people and hopes that his new family will support him in approaching new folks on his own terms. He tends to warm up quickly, especially if there are other dogs around. Sanders thrives in the company of his doggy friends and would be a great sibling to a resident dog or candidate for doggy daycare. He has met cats and largely ignored them. Sanders hasn't met kids yet, but he would likely do well with dog-savvy kids with proper introductions. This smart guy loves enrichment toys and will have a great time with puzzle feeders or other mental stimulation! Sanders is crated consistently throughout the day and overnight. He may whine for a few minutes but he settles in quickly. Sanders has been working hard on his house training and only has occasional accidents when his schedule is disrupted.
