About Tootsie
Tootsie is a striking young Rottweiler, about two years old, who has just wrapped up a six-week obedience class. She has been with the rescue for about six months and is searching for a home where she can be the only dog. Tootsie has loads of energy—her ideal adopter will match her active pace and understand her need for plenty of exercise and structure. She can be leash reactive and will need an experienced handler willing to work through that with her, but she’s noticeably more relaxed when off leash, showing her calmer side away from other dogs. Tootsie is not yet house trained and, due to her energetic temperament and leash reactivity, is best placed in a home without other dogs. Her training gives her a great foundation, but she’ll thrive with someone prepared to continue setting clear boundaries. Vaccinations are current, and she has been spayed. Tootsie is waiting in Woodland, CA for a home ready to bring out the best in her. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
