Meet Coral! Coral is a 6-year-old Standard Poodle weighing 39 pounds. She is a sweet and friendly girl who enjoys being around people and has a gentle, approachable personality. Coral gets along well with other dogs, though she does not require a canine companion in the home. She is happy to coexist with other dogs when appropriate, but would also do well as the only dog, soaking up attention from her people. She walks nicely on a leash and is a pleasant partner for strolls and daily outings. Coral is ready to find a loving home where she can share her sweet nature and be a wonderful companion. A required in-person meet and greet is necessary to ensure a proper fit for both the canines and the family. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
