I’m an older gal—but not that old—and I’ve definitely seen a thing or two in my lifetime. Because of that, I can come off a little unsure at first, but there’s a sweet, steady soul underneath it all just waiting for the right person to give me a chance. I came to the shelter as a stray, and the staff really thought someone would come looking for me—but no one ever did. That tells them I must have been someone’s dog at one point, because I’m housetrained and do well on a leash. I’m still figuring out how I feel about other dogs and cats, so I’d do best with slow introductions or possibly as your one-and-only for now. One thing about me—I LOVE the water hose! Splashing, chasing, and playing in the water is my absolute favorite thing and brings out my fun, playful side. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys the simple things and just needs a little time to settle in, I might be your girl.
