Jax is a dog who forms strong bonds with his people outside of his kennel. Once he's out and comfortable, he's friendly, social, and loves attention, seeking out closeness and interaction with his handlers at the Ranch. Jax can be more sensitive in confined spaces, especially around his kennel, and may become defensive when approached there. He has shown similar guarding behaviors around food, toys, and spaces, so he'll need an experienced adopter who understands how to manage and work through these behaviors. Because of this, Jax is looking for an adult only home with someone who can provide structure, clear boundaries, and a predictable routine. He'll do best with a handler who is comfortable reading dog body language and continuing positive training. With the right setup, Jax is a deeply loyal, affectionate companion who will form a close connection with his person and thrive in a home that understands his needs. Our adult adoption fee is $350 (not including tax) which includes each animal fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed.
