About Maggie

Maggie and her sister Molly are a bonded pair of 13-year-old cats searching for a longer-term foster or permanent home after their person entered end-of-life care. They’ve always been together and, right now, are safe in a temp foster near Asheville—but that stop is short-lived and they’ll need family again soon. Maggie is the outgoing sibling: she likes following her person from room to room and won’t turn down a good chat. She’s gentle, playful with toys, and warms up over time. Maggie takes medication for hyperthyroidism twice a day, but she handles it well and doesn’t put up a fight. These two bring calm, affectionate energy and would love a home where they can stick together, ideally with someone patient and understanding about transitions. Both have lived with a dog before and get along with other cats. Give these sisters a gentle landing for their golden years. Start your journey together! Apply now.
