Sweet Pea and her friend Foot came to rescue after their person was hospitalized and their home condemned. Sweet Pea was painfully thin due to untreated hyperthyroidism, but with medication and steady care, she’s now at a healthy weight. She does have arthritis in her hind legs and feels much better with supplements. Sweet Pea lives up to her name: she’s gentle and seeks out companionship.
