Meet Pongo! This lovely black-and-white girl is ready for a fresh start and a place to call her own. With her soft fur and bright, watchful eyes, Pongo has a gentle charm that quietly draws you in. Pongo may take a little time to settle into new surroundings, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and affectionate nature begins to shine. She enjoys peaceful spaces where she can relax, observe, and slowly build trust with her people. A sunny window, a cozy bed, and a kind heart are all she really asks for. In return, she’ll offer quiet companionship and those special moments of connection that make a house feel like home. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
