About Kasha
Kasha is hoping to find her next home—maybe it’s yours. She’s an orange tabby, gentle, sensitive, and more reserved than her sister Bahstet. Kasha came into her current owner’s life in early 2024 and has shown herself to be a watcher, not a bold explorer. She’s calm and happy around women, whether they’re familiar or strangers, and those are the moments when Kasha’s affectionate side comes through. She struggles with fear of men, especially those in uniform, which has made things hard in her household due to her owner’s career. Kasha has had no trouble fitting in with other animals. She’s completely comfortable with cats and surprisingly at ease around dogs, which isn’t always the case for cats. The key to her happiness is a little outdoor time each day—just a few minutes on a balcony or patio in the morning and evening helps her settle in. If she gets that, she becomes part of household activity; if not, she’ll disappear to her favorite hiding spots. She and her sister love curling up together in nooks and drawers, always sharing space. With Kasha, you can expect quiet companionship, a peaceful spirit, and a cat that knows what she needs and will let you know too. She’s ready for a meet and greet with her essentials packed.
