About Willow

Willow didn’t arrive with a backstory—just her sister Gracie, a wary spirit, and a quietness that hints at a tough past. Found abandoned with Gracie on the streets, Willow never lost her gentle core. These days, she’s starting to blossom. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and steadily mastering her basic commands. Willow is a mix of floof, goofiness, and soft affection. Though a young dog, her energy is low—she’s more about snuggling than sprinting, and her greatest joy is exploring a yard or lounging outside. She’s food-motivated and eager to please, loves her foster dog siblings, and is perfectly gentle with cats. With new people, Willow is shy and slow to trust. She does best when you give her space to come to you at her own pace, but once she bonds, you’ll have the kind of loyal, loving companion who never wants to leave your side. She’d thrive in a home with or without other pets or kids, and needs patient adopters who appreciate the deep loyalty of shy dogs. A securely fenced yard is a must for Willow—she’s an explorer at heart who can’t resist a good roam. After coming into foster care fearful and shut down, Willow has flourished with love and steadiness. She’s gentle, grateful, and ready for a home where she’ll be cherished, not just cared for. Willow will give everything to the person who promises her safety and lifelong love. She’s ready to be someone’s true companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
