Thank you!** Meet Ikota, an 11-week-old (4/15) Basenji/Mountain Cur mix, weighing approx. 20-25 pounds (as of 4/15/26). This beauty was found as a stray in Tennessee. We know! It's so hard to believe! But it won't be long before she finds a cozy New England home of her own! UPDATE: She does not howl like a Basenji, but she does not have a normal bark either. And her foster mom says she talks to her. She is a spunky little girl and has her foster older brothers wrapped around her paw. Ikota is truly the cutest little girl. When she's not stealing hearts with her friendly demeanor, Ikota loves to play with her senior foster brother’s toys (to his dismay), but he is tolerant of her behavior because Ikota is so sweet and the perfect little sister.
