About Ranger Buckaroo

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Ranger Buckaroo's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Howdy y'all! Grab your partner and gather 'round to meet Ranger Buckaroo, an 8-week-old Wheaten Terrier/Weimaraner mix, weighing 8 pounds (as of 4/16/26). Based on how the BUCKAROO litter looks compared to their mom, we haven't the slightest idea what additional breeds they are! Mom is a Wheaten Terrier mix and Dad is a mystery. All we know is that they can't wait to lasso your heart and never let go! These pups rode in on horseback all the way from Tennessee to meet you, so they can sing "Home On the Range" at your cozy New England ranch! Yee-haw! Ranger is a curious cowdog who'll be the first to hop on his horse and explore the world around him. When he's not playing with his fellow cowdogs or cuddling up next to you, you can find him riding a bull at your local rodeo! He's never one to be shy from a challenge. Ranger is the boy you need by your side in any situation. He won't even laugh at you when your horse kicks you off! Instead, Ranger will lick your wounds as you reconsider your future as a cowboy. It's not for the weak! No matter what duel comes your way, Ranger will be with you through thick and thin. The Buckaroo litter are the rootinest tootinest cowdogs around! They get along with outlaws, doggies, kiddos, and they even have experience with those country felines! There'll be no bellyaching from these folks with the Buckaroos charming everyone around! These young pups are still in training to be the best cowdogs they can be, so they'll need your help as the Sheriff to get them in tip-top shape with puppy training: potty, commands, lassoing, and crates. They can, however, teach you a lot about the Wild Wild West including how to spit into a spittoon from a long distance (it's not as easy as it looks in the cartoons, folks!) Saddle up, do-si-do over here and grab a Buckaroo pup today! Yee-haw! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Ranger Buckaroo, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] ** PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
