Ruger is a special boy who needed a special name!! In German my name stands for "spearman" or famous warrior..... guess what?? I am a LOVER, not a FIGHTER!! Now, I have had a ruff start to my life, but my life's prospects are so SO much better now that I am rescued and loved and safe! I was found by a nice guy on the streets of Austin, TX so SO skinny and so SO scared! Now, he did the best he could but when he ended up in drug rehab I was taken to the rescue here and my life has REALLY begun now! I am still skinny but nothing like I was before, I am a nervous fella and burn through some calories every day. I have a sweet and scared personality when you first meet me, but I get over that fairly quickly. i need a breed knowledgeable owner and. strong leader to help me build up my confidence too.
