Meet Your New Best Friend This adorable 1-year-old Shih Tzu boy is equal parts sweetheart and silly! With his soft cream-and-beige coat and those big, soulful eyes, he's basically a walking heart-melter. He's a gentle, affectionate little guy who loves being close to his people-especially if that means sitting right on your feet while you work or relax. Snuggles? Yes, please. Belly rubs? Even better. He thrives on love and will happily soak up every bit of attention you give him. He also has a playful, mischievous side! He loves toys and has a funny habit of "collecting" treasures-don't be surprised if your missing item turns up in his kennel with him looking very proud of himself He gets along well with other dogs and politely ignores the cat. He's still working on potty training and will need a patient, consistent home to continue building confidence-especially outdoors, as new things can be a little scary right now. A securely fenced yard is required. Leash walking is very scary for him at this time-when on a leash, he tends to freeze and will not walk, so he will need continued patience, confidence-building, and a safe enclosed space while he learns the world is okay. He does not like being kenneled. It causes him anxiety. He much prefers being near his humans. Regular grooming will be needed to keep his beautiful coat looking its best.
