Extra-Toes Cats, also known as Hemingway Polydactyls, are cats born with more than the usual number of toes due to a genetic trait. Named after Ernest Hemingway, whose Key West home still houses a colony of polydactyl cats, these charming felines can have up to seven toes on each paw.
