Meet Maxwell Smart — A Truly Extraordinary Little Soul Maxwell Smart isn’t just a dog… he’s something incredibly special. With a gentle heart, soulful eyes, and a quiet strength about him, he has a way of making you feel calm, safe, and instantly connected. There’s a depth to him that you don’t often see—like he understands more than he lets on. At just one year old, Maxwell who is a Lhasa Apso and Havanese Mix has already shown remarkable bravery. He was found in an abandoned house in Banning, where he had been surviving since November 2025 with his friends Cinnamon and Sugar. But Maxwell wasn’t just surviving—he was their protector, staying close and watching over them through it all. Despite being let down by humans, he remains unbelievably sweet, affectionate, and trusting—clear signs he once knew the comfort of a loving home. Now neutered and safe, Maxwell is ready for the life he’s always deserved—a home that will love him as deeply as he loves in return. A rare heart. A gentle protector. A once-in-a-lifetime dog. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications.
