Delta is a beautiful ~4-year-old Rottweiler who should be closer to 90 lbs - but today she’s just 76 lbs, clearly underweight and recovering from a life that asked far too much of her. She came to us as a stray, but her condition tells a clearer story. We suspect she was used for breeding and then discarded. Despite that, Delta remains incredibly gentle - soft in a way that feels intentional, not broken. She is sweet, quiet, and deeply sensitive. She doesn’t demand attention - she observes, processes, and slowly leans in when she feels safe. It’s subtle, but it’s there. Right now, the world still feels overwhelming. Loud noises startle her, and sudden movement can make her pause. But in a calm, steady environment, she is already beginning to settle. You can see her trying.
