About Boo Bear

Meet Boo Bear! He spent nearly six weeks with his kind rescuer, who tried everything to find his original family—posting online, checking with vet clinics, but no luck and, without a microchip, his story took a different path. Boo Bear is a striking Rottweiler, estimated 2-3 years old, built solid and healthy at about 82 lbs but a bit smaller than the average male of his breed. Based on his size and lack of microchip, it’s likely he came from a backyard breeder—not an ideal start, but his spirit remains intact. Boo Bear is a textbook Rottie: loyal with a playful side, but he’s got the drive, strength, and intelligence that come with the breed. For that reason, his next home should have solid Rottweiler or large dog experience. He needs consistent exercise and thrives on attention. Expect him to become a central part of your routine—he’s not a dog to be left on the sidelines. He’d do best with older, experienced children (8+), just so his size doesn’t become a hazard, but he’s very polite in a home setting and has good manners. He gets along with other dogs, especially large, easygoing ones who enjoy playtime, so another big canine friend might be a great match after a proper intro. He’s not a fit for homes with cats. Boo Bear loves toys—fetch is his sport of choice—and he’s happiest when he can get some solid playtime daily. He’s house trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to meet his new forever family in Houston, TX. If you want a playful, affectionate Rottie to share your days, Boo Bear could be the one.
