About Benny

Benny is a young neutered male with a unique mix of Great Pyrenees and German Shepherd in him, sitting somewhere around two years old and weighing about 55 pounds. His creamy white coat comes with a medium length—classic for his breeds. Initially taken in by a Good Samaritan, Benny is now looking for a more permanent situation because of his person’s severe allergies. He’s an easygoing companion who gets along with all ages of children and is comfortable with other dogs. As a bonus, he’s house trained, neutered, and current on all vaccinations. True to his mix, Benny has a nose for adventure and benefits from having a fenced yard to keep his wandering in check while he learns his new boundaries. There’s still some question about how he’ll do with cats, so a careful introduction would be wise. Benny is not in a foster home but lives in Cincinnati, OH, waiting for the right family to find him. Meetings are arranged through his current caregiver, coordinated by Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
