Odis is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Odis can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life—in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Odis is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. 🌟 Meet Odis: The Resilient Mystery Mix! 🌟 If you’re looking for a handsome, medium-sized companion with a heart of gold, meet Odis! At about 9 months old and 35 pounds (April 15), Odis is the perfect "adventure-sized" buddy who is finally ready to find the forever family he deserves. 🐾 A Unique Genetic Jackpot Odis is part of a very interesting litter! While one brother looks like a Doberman and another like a Shepherd, Odis is a stunning blend that looks like a Shepherd/Rottweiler or Doberman mix. Since they’re a "mixed bag" of breeds, he’s truly one-of-a-kind. Whatever his DNA says, his face says "best friend." ❤️ A Brave Heart Odis didn't have the easiest start in life, coming to us from an abuse and neglect case. However, you’d never know it by his personality! He has a remarkably resilient spirit and is very friendly, constantly seeking out pets and affection. To give him the best start, an Animal Control Officer took him home for a "trial run" in a house. The report? He’s a superstar! Family Man: He did wonderful with children. Dog Friendly: He gets along great with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Cat Curious: We haven't tested him with cats yet, but we are happy to do so for a potential adopter! 🏠 Good Boy Habits Odis is already showing great signs of being house-trained! He keeps his crate/kennel perfectly clean and knows exactly what to do the moment he steps outside. He loves being outdoors and running in the fresh air—it’s his favorite place to be. 🎾 Things He’s Working On Odis is still learning that the world is a safe place, which means he’s still figuring out leash walking. Right now, he’s not a huge fan of the leash, so he’ll need a patient family willing to use some treats and positive reinforcement to show him that walks are fun! Prevention: He has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Safety First: To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate—all performed within 10 days of his transport date. Adoption Details Odis’ adoption fee is $700. This fee is all-inclusive, covering his neuter, all veterinary care listed above, and his seat on a professional transport service dedicated to getting him safely to your area.
