About Betty Davis
Betty Davis is a super sweet, young Husky/Shepherd mix with a big personality and even bigger energy. Found as a stray but ready to settle in with a loving family, Betty is about 3-4 years old and carries herself with the confidence (and the bounce) Huskies and Shepherds are known for. She's very friendly—genuinely affectionate and sharp, eager to make friends with just about any dog she meets. While she walks well on a leash, her athleticism means she can clear a 6-foot fence; she absolutely needs a privacy fence at least that high to keep her safe. Her excitement sometimes gets the best of her, especially when she greets her favorite people, and she may jump up when she’s thrilled. Betty isn’t a match for apartment living—she needs a large yard to run and play, plus daily walks and adventures to keep her mind and body busy. She’ll thrive with someone energetic who can keep up and understands she needs room to move. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion who wears her heart on her paw, Betty Davis just might be the best girl you could hope for. She’s waiting to find her forever family in Sherman, TX.
