I'm Chester, a 78-pound Shepherd mix and proud goofball with a big personality and an even bigger heart! I'm a derpy guy who gets playful and rowdy pretty quickly, and when I'm having fun I can be a little mouthy - I'm just excited and still learning my manners. New things can make me feel a bit unsure at first, but underneath that hesitation I'm a very sweet boy who loves exploring and checking out the world around me. When I get scratches, I twist and wiggle all over the place because I just can't contain my happiness! I'm a rambunctious pup with lots of energy, so I'd do best with an active family that can keep up with my playful spirit and give me plenty of exercise and adventures. I like knowing my people are nearby and enjoy staying close to my favorite humans. With some basic training and continued socialization, I'll gain confidence and learn how to channel my enthusiasm in all the right ways. With patience, structure, and lots of love, I'll grow into a fun, loyal companion who keeps life entertaining and full of laughter. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
