About Blaze
Blaze is a high-energy, playful young dog who craves plenty of action and affection. At roughly 9 months old, he’s wired for activity and thrives in a home that can keep up—think long walks, backyard romps, and plenty of toys. Hyper and bouncy, Blaze is best for adopters with a secure, fenced yard and the time to engage him physically and mentally. Due to his reactivity with animals, he’ll need slow, supervised introductions to new dogs and should be placed in a household with teenagers or adults only. He does get along with his current canine siblings, so the right match is possible with care and patience. Blaze has already picked up basic commands like ‘sit’ and responds well to treats and toys, especially his favorite ball. Abandoned in freezing temperatures and found underweight, Blaze carries a bit of anxiety—he’ll need an adopter who’s home often and can provide reassurance, especially during car rides or when left alone. Jumping is his thing, so be ready. He’s talkative, loves to shadow his people, and soaks up every bit of attention and cuddle time. For the right family, Blaze promises unwavering loyalty and countless moments of joy. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
