Ask to meet!!! Koda, Female, 160 pounds Koda is a big, loving, affectionate 3 year old Mastiff/Retriever/Heintz 57 mix gal. She originally arrived at FAPL from a loving home and that’s where she dreams of being once again. Koda weighs 160 pounds!! She needs an adopter dedicated to helping her lose a few pounds. Any children in the home should be over the age of 10, due to her size. Koda definitely fits the description of a gentle giant! In play groups, Koda has a gentle, laid back manner with other canine friends, yet we would like to see her in a home with no other animals. She LOVES to play with tennis balls and plays fetch so gently. The shelter is no place for this gal- let’s find her a home today! She’s honestly the BIGGEST love of a dog!! No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested. Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
