Meet Hattie! This adorable dog is as sweet as she is charming. Hattie can be a little shy and cautious when meeting new people, but give her a bit of time and you’ll see her true personality begin to shine. As she continues to settle into her foster home, her sweet, silly side is coming out more every day! Once she feels comfortable, Hattie becomes a wiggly, affectionate companion who loves nothing more than snuggling up close and soaking in all the pets she can get. She’s very excited to see her people and will happily greet you with full-body wiggles. Hattie is smart and food motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training. She is already house trained and crate trained, and will sleep soundly in her crate overnight. She’s also learning how to walk on a leash—new environments can feel a little scary right now, but she’s making great progress with patience and encouragement. In her foster home, Hattie has been wonderful with the resident toddler—gentle, tolerant, and kind. She currently lives with other dogs and tends to be cautious around them, preferring they give her space. She does a great job coexisting by keeping her distance and is perfectly content as long as her boundaries are respected. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal little dog who will happily curl up by your side and grow more confident each day, Hattie might just be your perfect match! Hattie is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Hattie is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
