About Rose

Meet Rose (Rosalina)! This sweet girl is as lovable as they come. Rose is just shy of five months old. She’s smart and eager to learn—she picked up staying out of the kitchen on day one—and is already showing great manners. Rose is incredibly affectionate, greeting her people with full-body wiggles and a happily wagging tail. She’s social and does well with other animals, including cats, and would thrive in a home with another dog to play with. Rose enjoys walks and is doing well on leash, is treat-motivated, and already knows how to sit. She’s making great progress with potty training and is just as happy to curl up for snuggles as she is to play. Rose is a wonderful mix of playful and cuddly, and she’s ready to find a home where she can continue to grow and be loved. She's even done well heading to work with her foster dad, so she'll be a perfect companion wherever you go! Usually, satos (homeless dogs from Puerto Rico) are a mix of many breeds, some chihuahua, some pit, you name it! They are always loving and grateful. We do not know what breed Rose is, but with that face, we think some sort of lab, cur and/or hound mix! Your guess is as good as ours! Whatever she is, it's a perfect mix. We anticipate she will grow into a middle-sized adult, possibly around 30-40lb, but of course, they do sometimes surprise us!
