She is not yet spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and is currently not fully house trained. Mavis is eager to learn and in the process of gaining weight and confidence.

Mavisās story started out rough as a stray, lacking food and steady affection. Sheās a mix of working breeds, naturally smart and in need of someone willing to keep her mentally engagedāsimple daily training or even a real job could keep her fulfilled. She is sweet, truly loves being around kids and other dogs (unless theyāre acting out), and sheās already mastered the dog door. House training is in progress, and sheās quick to pick up on routines. Separation anxiety pops up sometimes but sheās already learning basic commands to help with that. Mavis also has a soft sideāsheās a great cuddler, even in this transitional period while she gets healthy and gains weight.
