If I had to choose one quote to describe Wilma, it would be “though she be but little, she is fierce.” Wilma is a one year old terrier mix with a big personality and a big heart to match. Wilma can be a little guarded when she first meets someone new, but once she decides that you’re her person...you.are.her.person. She will curl up in your lap, shower you with kisses and sleep tucked in next to you. Once she is relaxed in her surroundings, she is full of energy and loves to play with her toys, balls, or anything she can chase or toss around. She also loves hanging out on the balcony keeping a very close eye on the local bird situation (and making sure they know it). When she’s not on patrol or playing she’s probably jumping in the air trying to get picked up because she loves being loved. Leash walking is still a work in progress. Wilma’s more likely to wrap around your legs than ‘heel’ but that’s being she’s just nervous and excited all at once. Wilma is good with other dogs and would do best in a home without cats. She needs someone with a little patience for her quirks, but she is absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a cuddly, spirited little soul who will choose you just as much as you choose her, Wilma might be your girl.
