About Mochi

Mochi and Cricket are a bonded pair, eager for a forever home together after a challenging journey. Both girls have shown incredible resilience, surviving numerous surgeries and a heartbreaking surrender from a Texas shelter where they were part of a larger group of dogs needing rescue. Now, they’re thriving and ready to spread their love in a stable home. Mochi, a sweet Wire-Haired Terrier mix, is about 7 years old and weighs around 14 lbs. With a calm and affectionate demeanor, she serves as the confident protector of her duo. Despite her permanently grumpy expression, Mochi loves cuddles and enjoys frozen Kongs. She's also great on a leash, making her all the more delightful. Though she's had benign masses removed and has a heart murmur, Mochi remains happy and full of life. Cricket is over 8 years old and weighs around 13 lbs. She's the gentle spirit who feels shy but flourishes once she trusts her companions. After overcoming serious health issues, she now relishes a life of comfort. Their bond is heartwarming, providing mutual comfort and security. These girls need a calm home with a fenced yard, no apartments, and ideally, no small children. They are housebroken to a degree, but Mochi is still catching on, and both girls are crate trained. It's essential that they remain together, as their connection offers them both strength and security.
