Hiya, I'm Kelsey (my foster mom also calls me Kels, and Monkey)! I'm the perfect blend of playful big puppy energy, and couch potato snuggle bug. Some of my favorite things are going on walks and window shopping, following my foster mom around the house, snuggling on the couch, rubber toys I can nosh on, and treats! I'm very good at walking on a leash and love getting treats and snuggling with my foster mom. I'm excellent at riding on the subway, go in my crate without much issue, and rarely bark (I will sometimes make whining sounds when I desperately want to meet another dog). I'm super curious, warm up to people quickly, and am always trying to make new friends. I've already won over the front desk people in my building and workers at some local businesses down the street—they think I'm the cutest pup! Speaking of, I may be four years old but am aging like fine wine—get ready for people to comment on how gorgeous and young I look all the time! I had a couple accidents inside while getting used to my new bathroom schedule after shelter life but have learned and adjusted quickly! I don't love the cold or salt on the ground, but do enjoy snow (what's a short-haired girl to do?!).
