About Kobe
Kobe is an inquisitive puppy who likes attention and is quick to make his presence known. He came from tough beginnings—his mom, a purebred Great Dane, was rescued as a pregnant stray, and Kobe arrived in foster care just a day after birth. Raised with care and a lot of handling, he’s had a good start, plenty of socialization, and an early taste of family life. Kobe's dad remains a mystery, though there’s a good guess he may have some Husky or Border Collie in the mix. That combination, along with his Great Dane heritage, suggests he’ll be a big, sharp, and loyal companion as he grows. Expect a “gentle giant” in progress. He’ll need a family ready to put effort into puppy training—housebreaking, leash work, basic obedience, the whole deal. Having been fostered since the day he was born, Kobe is well-adjusted. He’s now ready to move from foster care to a permanent home where his training continues and he gets plenty of exercise and direction. Kobe gets along with other dogs and does well with kids, so he could fit into a lively household looking for a smart, eager puppy. Fun fact: With a birthdate of February 14, Kobe is an Aquarius—often known for their playful, curious nature. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Kobe

Kobe, a Great Dane mix, will thrive best in a home with ample space—ideally a house with a secure yard. Large breed mixes like him need room to move and do well in family environments where people are home often.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A Great Dane mix like Kobe will benefit from a good amount of outdoor space, such as a backyard, to help burn off puppy and grown-up energy. Access to walks and regular outdoor play is important.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Kobe's mix is known for being gentle and affectionate, and he already gets along with children. With supervision—especially due to his size as he grows—he's a good fit for families with kids.
