Meet Toby Toby is a 4-month-old Belgian Shepherd mix who has already shown incredible strength and resilience. Expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, Toby’s journey hasn’t been easy—he endured abuse as a young puppy that left him with a broken back. But against all odds, this brave boy has made an amazing recovery and is now starting to walk on his own. With continued healing, his vet expects Toby to grow into a low-energy, happy, and “normal” pup in just a few months. His spirit is truly inspiring. Toby can be a bit timid at first, but with patience and love, he slowly opens up and shows his sweet, gentle personality. He is great with kids and other dogs, and despite everything he’s been through, he has never shown aggression—only a quiet, kind heart. He is already potty trained and learning to trust the world again, one day at a time. Toby is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue to support his journey and show him the life he has always deserved. Toby is currently being fostered in Mexico and will travel to the US once adopted
