Meet Blackjack: Blackjack is a 9 month old (as of April 2026) lab mix that weighs 49 pounds. Blackjack was in a high kill outside shelter and next on the list to be euthanized. We are so thankful we were able to spring Blackjack from the shelter before it was too late! Blackjack is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Blackjack is very, very sweet! All Blackjack wants is to be your shadow. Blackjack is shy but comes right to you. Loud noises can make Blackjack a little skittish, but he will run right to your side for your protection and reassurance. Blackjack is good with other dogs, people and children. As a puppy, Blackjack will need some patience while he works on his house training. Blackjack is crate trained but could benefit from leash walking training. We would love for Blackjack to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely. Blackjack is up to date on his shots and is recently neutered.
