She's very food-motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training and learning new skills. Like many energetic dogs, Bennie is still working on her impulse control. When she gets excited, she may jump up or be mouthy, especially if food or treats are involved. She has shown that she can be redirected with treats and by giving her a moment to settle, and she benefits from clear, consistent guidance during interactions. Bennie is friendly and social, bonding quickly with people and eager to engage. She would do best in a home that can match her energy, continue her training, and help her practice calmer behaviors.
