Cooper's estimated birth year: 2017 Handsome Cooper is a Maltese who was surrendered when his owner developed Alzheimer's. He loves walks and car rides. He's a sweet boy, patient, and enjoys being held. Cooper had TPLO and patella surgery and is ready to be adopted. Good with dogs. Unknown with cats. Children 15 years old or older. Cooper's forever home is required to have a totally enclosed fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and hang out with his people. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and crate-trained. Sweet Cooper would love to find a forever family who will allow him to live his best life and be a treasured part of a loving family! All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same-day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year to attend 1 obedience class (6-week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs.
