Thankfully, they were brought into Harris County shelter, and Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas (GDRST) stepped in to give all three a second chance. Now it’s Miles’ turn to find the loving home he truly deserves. 💙 Miles is estimated to be 12–18 months old and is everything you’d want in a companion—friendly, affectionate, and great with both people and other dogs. We’re not sure how he does with cats just yet. He is current on vaccines, microchipped, and will be neutered in the coming weeks. While we believe he may be a Great Dane mix, his exact lineage is a mystery—but his sweet personality is crystal clear! Miles has done wonderfully in boarding, loves mealtime, and already knows a few basic commands like sit and no. He’s eager to please and ready to keep learning. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
