About Olive
Olive is a gentle, laid back Pomsky searching for a home that stays on the quiet side. She sleeps peacefully in her crate both at night and during the day, but she’s also perfectly behaved if left loose around the house. There’s no risk of mischief with Olive; she just wants comfort and calm. Olive needs a home with another calm, confident dog. That companionship isn’t just nice for her—it’s essential. She feels safe around other dogs and relies on having one nearby. Without a canine buddy, Olive tends to withdraw and may become anxious. Olive has been tested with cats and did great, so she could share her space with feline friends. She’s recently started exploring the joys of being a dog—like figuring out how fun squeaky toys can be—but she’s still early in that journey. Because she came from a puppy mill background, Olive missed out on ordinary puppy experiences. She still gets nervous in new situations and will do best with an adopter who’s both experienced and patient, and who has a securely fenced yard. With support and time, Olive has all the warmth and potential to become a happier, more confident dog. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
