About Honey
Honey is an intense bundle of energy—sharp as a whip, opinionated, and always in motion. She’s got plenty of affection to share, but even more curiosity and adventurous spirit that can get her into mischief. Rescued from a crowded shelter, Honey came in as a stray, so her past is a mystery, but her personality says it all: classic husky traits shrunk down into her small Pomsky frame, with little that hints at her Pomeranian side. Expect lightning-fast problem-solving, loads of independence, and, frankly, stubbornness. Honey is tireless in play, whether chasing water bottles or pinecones, and her hunt drive keeps her on the lookout for squirrels, birds—anything that moves. She’s not as sneaky as she hopes, so don’t worry about catching, but you’ll need to keep her on leash and alert. Honey can get mouthy if excited or anxious, especially with unfamiliar people, but she settles in once she knows you. For this reason, she needs an experienced owner with a true history with headstrong, high-drive breeds. Absolutely no cats, small dogs, or little animals, as her prey drive is just too strong. While she can meet same-size or bigger dogs, go slow and keep them separated until personalities are clear. Not a fit for homes with young kids; savvy teens may be fine. She’s fully house-trained, medium-coated, small, freshly spayed, up to date on all basic vaccines, and ready for a securely fenced yard and lots of structure. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
