About Leia
Leia is a striking black and white Siberian Husky who’s gone through more than any dog ever should. She came from an extremely neglectful environment where she lived outside, crammed into a crate that was too small, and was left to fend for herself in terrible conditions. After being rescued, Leia faced and overcame heartworm disease thanks to generous help and a loving foster home. These days, Leia is soaking up affection and adjusting to real comfort for the first time. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. Leia thrives in a predictable home environment and, after all she’s been through, she deserves only the best. This girl enjoys the company of other dogs, but she will not be placed in a home with cats. A secure, physically fenced yard is a must to keep her safe and happy.
