Hey everyone, meet Ayden! Ayden came to TCR in late summer as a stray. He had known the indoor life for a bit but had been left outside by a previous owner to fend for himself in the elements for what we believe was a long while. Ayden thoroughly enjoys being back indoors and loves his feline companions. He's an excellent companion to other cats, never being an aggressor and always happy to be around a napping feline friend. When it comes to people, Ayden can be very shy and requires an empathetic and gentle approach and will oh so sweetly lean in for pets for as long as you'll pet him. Ayden is a quiet and calm cat. His favorite activities are napping with buds, snacking on wet food, and keeping a watchful eye on the humans around him. He'll sometimes let out a gentle hiss when you approach him but gentle pets of his bunny soft fur and reassuring words will have him purring up a storm very quickly. Ayden has come out of his shell in foster care. With a permanent place to call home, we believe this shy sweetie will slowly continue to emerge from past traumas that have affected his confidence. This bashful boy would be a wonderful addition to a calm household with other calm cats to live with. Ayden is estimated to be around 9.5 years old. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
