Peanut is a sweet 12-year old male Lynx Point Siamese/Tabby kitty who was brought to the HSOV on February 26, 2026 for a very sad reason because his mistress had passed away recently. Peanut and his nine housemates (Babe, Cotton, Kiki, Simba, Sweetie Bell, Tj, Ty, Yeller, and Zoey) were very much loved. They cannot understand why they lost the freedom of their home and are now in small cages while they wait for new homes of their very own. Peanut has a brown tabby short smooth coat with apricot/orange shading, a long tail, and an adorable face with blue eyes, a chocolate brown nose, and long white whiskers. This senior gentleman has a sweet, outgoing personality. Peanut is good with children and dogs, but he does not accept other cats in his circle of friends .. And, after all, age has its privileges (smile). Peanut has made an exception and is currently sharing a double-wide cage with one of his former housemates ( a small male brown/white tabby boy named Tj). Peanut was given vaccinations, flea treatment, and Drontal dewormer on February 28, 2026. He was given booster vaccines on March 16, 2026. Peanut is big guy who weighs 13.6 lbs. These photos were taken on April 10th 2026 when HSOV Kennel Techs Lauryn Hamilton and Madison Lee assisted Peanut with updated 'glamour pictures' since he had chosen to remain in his stainless steel litterbox for his first debut photos. Peanut made the most of his out-of-cage time and thoroughly enjoyed his 15-minutes of fame while he explored our 'studio' (i.e., the shelter bathroom) Peanut has already been neutered, so he could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application. Peanut would love to be back in a real home environment again.
