About Brandie
Brandie is a gentle senior German Shepherd with a calm, loving temperament. She prefers a quiet environment and enjoys nothing more than being close to her people, happily soaking up belly rubs. Around the house, she's well mannered, house trained, and rarely makes a sound. Watching the world from a window is one of her favorite activities; she's a content presence just taking it all in near you. Brandie moves at a slower pace these days and prefers short, easy walks. She’s easy to handle on leash and rarely pulls, except when her nose picks up the scent of deer—her interest in wildlife is strong, so a secure leash and fenced yard will be important to keep her safe. She weighs around 70 pounds, is spayed, and her vaccinations are current. Brandie will be getting eye surgery once she finishes her heartworm treatment, so she isn’t quite ready to leave yet, but she’s seeking a calm, caring foster or foster-to-adopt home for her recovery. More than anything, Brandie deserves a safe, comfortable place to heal and plenty of kindness in her golden years. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
