Knox is a 7.5 month old, 31 lb male retriever mixed breed. Knox is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home. Knox is a sweet guy, not quite a "void", as he is a gorgeous ebony all over save for a bit of white on his chest and the tips of his little paws. He is a sweet, calm boy who sadly is one of two survivors of his litter, so he is anxious to find a home of his very own so he can start this next chapter of his life. Knox is playful and fun loving, he likes children, and gets along with the resident dogs, so he would do very well with another dog in the home, to show him the ropes. Knox is a smart pup and would love the chance to go on long walks, though he does need a bit of leash training. He does spent a lot of time outdoors so his potty training would need some focus, but all this young guy is smart and calm, so all he needs is a little dedication and he will quickly catch on. Knox is a sweetheart, and very ready to begin the next chapter of his life as a member of someone's family. Black dogs like Knox tend to get overlooked, but please don't let that happen to this sweet puppy - Knox is ready to meet you! Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada. Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $600 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.
