I may be a little older now, but I’ve still got a gentle spark in me especially when I’m around other dogs. I like taking my time to greet them, a calm sniff here, a friendly wag there. I’m not as wild as I used to be, but I enjoy the company and the quiet understanding we share. Treats? Oh, I never outgrew those. I might move a bit slower these days, but I’ll always perk up at the sound of a bag opening. And when it comes to pets, that’s my favorite thing of all. A soft hand on my head or a slow scratch behind my ears can make my whole day. I’ll lean into you, close my eyes, and just enjoy the moment.
